RF Sistem Direktnog Uzorkovanja
IC-705 koristi RF sistem direktnog uzorkovanja, gdje se RF signali direktno pretvaraju u digitalne podatke. Potom se obrađuju u FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array), čime se pojednostavljuje konstrukcija sklopa i smanjuje unutrašnja šuma koja može sakriti slabe signale.

* Metoda uzorkovanja s međufrekvencijskom pretvorbom koristi se za frekvencije od 25 MHz i više.
